Who we are / About the Hub 

The Maisha Maarifa Research Hub is a knowledge sharing platform for HIV & AIDS, Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) as well as co-morbidities such as Tuberculosis (TB). It effectively brings together research findings as well as best practices in programming that have been generated locally to inform policy and decision making for the HIV & AIDS response, comorbidities and SRH programming.

It is aimed at enhancing access to research and information to stakeholders and decision makers at all levels.

Purpose of the HUB

Enhance access to research and knowledge information for HIV, Comorbidities and SRH.

Promote evidence based policy formulation and programming.

Provide an interactive forum to share knowledge on HIV, Comorbidities and SRH

The Maisha Maarifa Reseach Hub has been developed by the National AIDS Control Council and Ministry of Health Departments of Reproductive Health, TB and NASCOP. The hub was developed in consultation with key stakeholders who involved research institutions, teaching and learning institutions, development and implementing partners who included; KEMRI, IAVI, KAVI/UoN, CDC, FHI 360, AFIDEP, AKU among others.
